Consider scheduling a day vacation to enjoy lesser-known gem for example the Kissimmee (thirty mins from Orlando & called "Gateway to the Everglade"). It’ a nice spot to view alligators and shop at the outlets. Or, go to Wekiwa Spring State theme Park near downtown FloridaOrlando to explore emerald spring & lush tropical foliage.
  • Even though Orlando is like 1 hour journey from the sea coast, Orlando travelers should watch out for an approaching storm and stay up to this day with warnings from the state’s Hurricane Centers.
